About Me
Amye Scavarda is a project manager for open source content management systems based in Portland, OR.
She’s well versed in Agile and Waterfall styles of project management for web development, and helps build great teams who love working with each other and get projects done.
She plays well with others: technical humans, non-technical humans, project management systems, content management systems, open source software, developers, clients, and code.
These things happen when she works on projects:
- building effective infrastructure within existing development teams
- facilitating client and developer engagement
- translating needs and requirements into understandable roadmaps
- creating effective spaces for community engagement
In short, she just makes things go smooth. She’s now working for Acquia in Support, so consulting gigs are on hold.
She also does community organizing and fundraising for fun.
